**We have a new addition to our family*** She arrived yesterday (8/29) afternoon. A 4 y/o Thoroughbred mare named CuteNCozy. Big, beautiful, grey TB mare and we are super excited about her arrival. Will post more information and pictures soon!!
Meet Dolly Sham (AKA Dolly); She is a 19 year old (maybe 20 now) OTTB mare who has spent the past 7 years with her previous owners. Dolly was located thru pennswoods.net when I wasn searching for another TB mare. We drove to NJ to meet Dolly in person and fell for her at first site. After a month of trying to find transportation for her, she was finally brought to our home in August of 2007. Dolly is not a rescue or donated horse. She is Level 3 dressage trained and a beautiful mover but because she is a little ring shy was never taken further. She is currently enjoying her time her as pretty much a pasture pal for the other horses. She was recently ridden after almost a year and did excellent. Very sweet girl and just a joy to work around. Special thanks to Marcia for taking such good care of Dolly. Dolly is NOT available for placement. She has become Brian's favorite horse.

Meet Dancing Hatteras a 14 y/o OTTB mare that was brought to us in November/December 2007. She is a great mare that after trying several times, unsuccessfully, of being rehomed was brought to our facility. Her previous owners cared so much about her welfare that they trailered her themselves to our farm to meet us in person. She came from VA where the weather was much warmer but she settled in well and is enjoying her time here at the farm. She is keeping all of the new comers company by greeting them as they come in the barn. She needs a more experienced rider but works very well for the children to ride around the roundpen. She's very careful and cautious of who is on her back. She was used for cross country jumping previously. We plan to breed her this year with one of our two stallions!! Special thanks to Jane and Lisa. Dancer is NOT available for placement. She is my current project horse.

Meet Sonny, he's between 10-12 y/o pony gelding. He stands around 12 Hands and is just the sweetest little thing. He is our most recent take in and is already being put to work. He's been giving lessons and is doing a great job. His ground manners need a little work but he's helped to get my daughter excited about working with the horses as well. He's been turned out with Valay Night to keep him company. Special thanks to Debbie. Rest assured that Sonny is being well taken care of and more importantly has found a job that he enjoys. Sonny is NOT available for placement. He is currently being used for riding lessons and confidence building for the children.

We recently acquired this mother and son package about a month ago. The Dam is Sunkiss Of Boon AKA Sunny a 5 year old AQHA mare. She stands around 14'2 hands high and is an absolute sweetheart. She loves attention and treats and is the first one to come to you outside. Her and her colt (Preacher) are currently kept in a separate pasture from all the other horses but are inbetween two pastures so that they can get to know some of the other boys and girls on the farm. Sunny is still very green and needs quite a bit of work in order to be able to be shown but she shows great promise and is of a size that my daughter should be able to ride her without any issues. She is an absolute doll and we are glad to have her as a part of the family.
Her colt, now around 2 months old, is a little character! He loves attention and will cut in front of mom to make sure that he gets his fair share. He's a great fellow and we look forward to seeing how he will turn out. We haven't decided yet whether we will keep him a stud or geld him, that will be determined later down the road. We are happy to have them and look forward to seeing how they both turn out! Nope they are not available for placement either. At least not right now.

Her name is Dacks and she is a 19 year old OTTB with some old bloodlines! She is around 16'2 hands and is just a gorgeous girl. We are so excited to have her at our facility. She is very sweet and has an awesome disposition. She has been used as a broodmare for a long time now and her previous owner wasn't sure the last time that she has been ridden. 2 days after coming to our facility my trainer jumped right on her back and other than a couple little back pops there were no issues. It appears that she has had some training at some point in time because she has a very nice head set and very smooth flowing movements under saddle. My nephew who is a very green rider has taken her on a trail ride and she did an excellent job. We plan on breeding her once maybe twice and then letting her be a horse and get some ride time. She has been very well cared for and eyes Preacher longingly as if she is missing something. She is so used to having a baby at her side that we don't think she is used to being without one! We look forward to learning more about her and seeing what the future holds! She is NOT available.

Meet Take the Plunge AKA Plunger: He as very spooky when he first arrived but is as solid as a rock now. He's very attentive and did excellent under saddle today 7/27. I rode him myself and he listened very well. He was responsive, walked and trotted on command. Very smooth gaited. Exellent western or english prospect. He is sound for riding. He's been off the track for over a year now and has been turned out. Would be best suited for advanced beginner or above. Would be able to do just about any discipline. He's a big fella (I stand 6 foot tall) and is solid also around 16'2" Hands. He'll make a nice addition to any family and is very affectionate. He absolutely loves people and likes to give kisses. Congrats to MEFS, where he will be a permanent resident. Plunger will remain here as a permanent resident and will be used for riding lessons and my performance horse. Look for us to be competing next year! Special thanks to Lori & Kelly for sending him to our facility!
